FINALLY FINISHED

I finished the borders last night!!!! It's huge. My floor space is not big enough to lay it down and you can see that it is hard to hold up. I took one picture with it folded in half so you could see the borders better. I'm quite pleased with how it turn out. You can't see the true colors here, the green looks nicer in real life.
So what to do next?

I had a very busy day at work today so I don't think it will be a sewing night. I really have to clean my house tonight. I know at some point in the evening I will end up in my sewingroom looking at all the posiblities for the next project. My room is like going to a store. I think it's time to do something a little smaller. I saw a pattern for bed runners. They are kind of neat, just like a table runner but bigger. They are meant to keep your feet warm. Who would of thought.

Blogging

I have been trying to figure out some new things on here for about an hour now and I think I'm going to give up now. I envy those people that can fly through the computer and figure things out so quickly. So I think I will go and sew on my borders. Something I think I'm much better at doing.

All most done

Sam thought he needed to be in this picture, so I just gave up and let him in, isn't he cute. This is the center of the flannel quilt. I hope to have the borders on by the end of the week.
What quilt to do next? I only have about 15 to choose from.

Hello everyone,

Sorry I have not been around for awhile. I have had the flu for three days and have not been able to sew, or do much of anything. I'm hoping to be able to get back to work on the flannel one tomorrow. I'm so close to having the blocks sewn together.

This quilt is a quilt as you go reversable one. I did not really enjoy working on this one and will most likely never do another one.
My buddy Sam has sure enjoyed keeping me company on the couch this week-end.

Dainelle knit her first scarf. It's the Italian flag for her boyfriend Dustin's birthday. He is very excited to wear it.

It's Friday night and I'm taking a break from sewing on my flannel quilt. It's coming along quite nicely. I was also having some smarties as I was sewing and thinking of my chocolate quilt. I bought this as a kit in Vegas. I don't usally buy kits but I loved this fabric. Chocolate is my best friend. I want this one quilted with hearts all over it, for my love of chocolate. Well I better get back to my sewing. Hope everyone has a good week-end.

It's amazing that my poinsettia is still alive in January. It has never happened before. I have bought big fancy double plants and spent a lot of money on them and then they die in a month. I think the secret is not to water them.
